Capcom and ASICS celebrated their shared Japanese heritage with a Mega Man-inspired collection launched in November 2019. The Gel BND sneaker pays homage to Rockman—Mega Man’s Japanese name—with a blue synthetic patent leather upper featuring pixelated stripes, reminiscent of the original 1987 video game. Katakana symbols adorn the left shoe's tongue, while a text graphic appears on the heel. The design is completed with a Gel-cushioned midsole and a rubber outsole, echoing the robot's metal feet.
